After completing the course students will know the theoretical knowledge and practical skills of research planning based on the current methodology in the biological sciences. Student prepares how to solve the scientific problems and formulate research hypotheses. The student is able to interpret, present, and briefly describe the experimental results using multimedia resources.Competences:
Student knows the principle of conducting experiments on animals, knows how to select appropriate references and use it in his studies and in describing the results. Student knows how to define the research hypotheses, choose the materials and methods to plan and carry out the research. Student is able to present research paper using multimedia resources.Prerequisites:
Pre-defined topic of MA thesis.Course content:
Detailed analysis of the scientific works of classical, general and experimental biology, detailed reporting to student’s own work and literature review, creating a multimedia presentation, discussion, and the protection of intellectual property rights, criticism of the methods used in science, acceptance, speculation and scientific reasoning, recapitulation, recapitulation of the results , correctness of inference, the conclusions as the effects of the application, thedefense of the thesis also in the presence of the seminarians.Recommended literature:
