Knowledge:
Student: knows functioning of different organisms; knows ecological conditions of biodiversity; knows what are the main threats to biodiversity and how the threats could be limited; student is able to create interesting multimedia presentation.
Skills: Student is able to carries out field research and to prepare proper documentation of it; is able to prepare interesting multimedia presentation using Polish and foreign language sources of information; is able to do critical analysis and selection of information, especially from electronic sources.Competences:
Student: is aware of responsibility of team members and organize fieldwork; promotes care for future of environmental.Prerequisites:

Category of biodiversity: (1) genetic biodiversity, (2) species biodiversity, (3) phyletic biodiversity, (4) functional biodiversity, (5) biodiversity of groups of organisms (6) biodiversity of habitats, methods for assessing biodiversity, species index diversity, Simpson index, Shannon index.Recommended literature:

Competition of the course: preparing presentations and reports from the fieldwork.
