Learning outcomes: The student after course should be aquitanced with theory of regional policy, and in financial tools supporting regional policy in European Union and Poland.
Competences: The student after course will be aquitanced with the documents important in gaining financial support from European Union in Poland. He will know the theoretical basis of preparing the regional operation programmes.

Course content: Region, regionalisation and regionalism; The rules of European regional policy; Regional policy – basic definitions, theory and evolution; The financial tools of regional policy; Regions and trans-border cooperation; The problems of regional policy implementation in Poland.
