Learning outcomes: The course aims to introduce students to alternative energy carriers in terms of reducing greenhouse gas emissions. The aim of the course is to analyze various sources of renewable energy and assess their practical use. Particular attention is paid to the aspect of reducing greenhouse gas emissions at the energy use of energy and ecological aspects of various energy sources such as biomass, solar energy, water energy, wind energy, heat pump, geothermal energy.
Competences: After completion the course student has knowlidge regarding individual carriers of unconventional energy practical utilization as the ecological carriers and pursuant the decisions of white book of UE, about initiation the renewable sources of energy simultaneously the and stint the greenhouse effect. The got knowledge will permit on free help in area of ecological sources of energy.
Prerequisites: Physics, Ecology (basic)
Course content: Abilities of harvest, use and put into practice of renevable sources of energy, burning of biomass, production of biofuel, biogas, energy of sun, wind and erth.
