Learning outcomes: Advanced knowledge about technical, chemical and biological reclamation of degraded lands. Special attention is laid on phytoremediation and the use of biological methods in reclamation of soils contaminated with oil products and PAHs.
Competences: The competence for designing a complete reclamation and final biological cultivation of selected degraded lands.
Prerequisites: soil science, soil degradation and protection (basic course)
Course content: Reclamation in polish legislation. BIological reclamation – land – farming and forest reclamation of degradation areas. Reclamation of toxic soil and dump of waste managnent.
