Learning outcomes: Student got knowledge of edible mushrooms and methods of their cultivation

Competences: Student is able to co-organize and control the production of the main species of edible mushrooms – button mushroom and oyster mushroom.

Prerequisites: Botany, Microbiology

Course content: Modern methods of edible mushrooms cultivation, production of growing media and spawn, method of protection against pathogens and pests, , nutrition value of cultivated mushrooms..

Assessment methods: Obligatory credit of practice part – minimum part of knowledge 60% (60% grade) Written examination from lecture part – minimum part of knowledge 60% (40% grade)
