Students get knowledge of genome, genomics and proteomics, molecular cloning, transposable elements, and different ways of genes transformation. Use of biotechnology gives advantage in medicine and agriculture. Students will be able to explain usefulness of GMO in microorganisms, plants and animals Competences:
After passing of the course of molecular biology for better understanding similarity and differences among organisms, mutual exchange of genetically important information and development of GMO. Genomics allows learning of evolution and predicting use of GMO in crops breeding
