Learning outcomes: Learning outcomes: during the course student gets the knowledge of disturbances of fertility in males of domestic animals, collection and preservation of semen and methods of artificial insemination.
Competences: After passing the course students are able to treat disturbances of fertility of domestic animals. They know methods of artificial insemination.
Prerequisites: Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Physiology, Physiopathology, Anatomy and Pathological Anatomy.
Course content: Endogenous and exogenous disturbances of fertility in domestic males. Methods of semen collection and examination, preservation of semen at lov temperatures. Methods of artificial insemination in cows, mares, pigs, sheep, goats, does, dogs and deer.
