Student gets the knowledge about disorders in ruminants and swine, student knows reproduction performers in females of farm animals, student is able to diagnose on his own health status of an animal and choose a most suitable treatment option, student is able to assess health state of a herd. Competences:
After finishing the subject student is able to make a diagnosis (clinical and specific examinations) of farm animal diseases, is able to treat farm animal diseases – in individual cases and in the whole herd. Student can supervise the reproduction of farm animals, is able to perform surgical procedures in ruminants and swine.Prerequisites:

Farm animal internal diseases (etiology, diagnosis, management), farm animal surgery (diagnosis and surgical procedures), farm animal infectious diseases (etiology, diagnosis, management), farm animal reproduction (physiology reproduction, pathology of reproduction - etiology, diagnosis, management).
