Learning outcomes: Students understand the most important animal diseases and their forensic significance. They learn about polish veterinary law and medical aspects of expert witness affairs. They understand post-mortem examinations and laboratory methods used in forensic veterinary medicine.
Competences: After passing the course students are able to prepare an expert opinion according to rules they learned earlier.
Prerequisites: Pathology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Toxicology, Parasitology.
Course content: The structure, organization, function and task of forensic veterinary medicine in Poland.
