On completion of the course student understands and utilizes basic chemical principles, to solve analytical and calculation problems.Competences:
Student knows how to carry out the qualitative analyses of inorganic cations and anions, and quantitative analyses employing titration and gravimetry; student is able to do calculations concerning respective analyses.Prerequisites:
Course content:
Atom structure, the nature of chemical bond. Periodic table of elements. Oxidation - reduction processes. Introduction to chemical kinetics. Equilibrium in solutions of electrolytes. Systematic of inorganic compounds. Elements of quantitative and qualitative analysis. Chemical calculations.Recommended literature:
