In the first semester student obtains knowledge and skills in the field of principals of technique, materials applied in machines and equipment for food industry, basic calculations in technical mechanics and strength of materials, elements of machines, electrotechnics, measuring devices. In the second semester student obtains knowledge and skills in the field of machines and devices in food industry, their technical characteristics and application. Choice of machines and equipment to particular technologies. Competences:
Completing of the subject delivers knowledge and skills in the field of functioning, selection and application of machines equipment in food industry such as pumps, fans, compressors, electric engines, transport equipment, cleaners, separators, breakers, washers, filters, driers and refrigerators.Prerequisites:
mathematics, physicsCourse content:
Basic knowledge in material science, technical mechanics, elements of machines, electrotechnics, pumps, fans, compressors, electric engines, transport equipment, cleaners, separators, breakers, washers, filters, driers and refrigerators. Recommended literature:
