Learning outcomes: The student possesses the theoretical knowledge and the practical enabling the independent selection of typical apparatus of automatic control skills as well as it is well - informed in range existing on market of technical solutions.

Competences: Commanded knowledge from automation field will allow to understand technical texts from this range and enable to lead technicale agreements with specialists.

Prerequisites: Mathematics, Physics

Course content: The mathematical description of objects and the arrangements of automation. The principle of coding and the sending the signals. Computer steering measurement. The sensors the, transducers, the measures and the record - keepers of physical sizes. Principle of control of physical sizes. Analog and digital laboratory regulators and industrial. The elements and the arrangements of safety automation. The use of arrangements of steering and the automatic control in wood technology.

Assessment methods: Obligatory credit past 6 semester, written and oral – min 60%.
