Learning outcomes: The student after completion of the course should be familiar with woody introduced plants (foreign origin). He should be able to recognize and describe their basic features of the construction, habitat requirements and and the possibilities of using. He should know the species of woody plants under legal protection. He should be able to assess the biocoenotic value of woody plants. know the fundamental group of animals associated with the spread of plants. The student should be able to use practically the knowledge of the morphology and ecology of plants

Course content: The vegetation as part of the natural and cultural landscape. Characteristics in the systematic arrangement of families and types of woody plants with particular attention to: the tillage requirements (frost resistance, resistance to urban and industrial conditions, soil, position, and others), plasticity (seasonal variation, the specific features of ornamentation, the pace of growth and others) and design applications* * Characteristics includes the genera of: Juniperus, Kalmia, Kalopanax, Kerria, Koelreuteria, Kolkwitzia, Laburnum, Larix, Lavandula, Leucothoe, Ligustrum, Liquidambar, Liriodendron, Lonicera, Lyonia.
