PolishLearning outcomes:
Knowledge: student has a knowledge about: soil genesis, basic processes occurring in soils, basic soils properties, threats to soil and way to prevent them, the main Polish soils morphology, system of soil valorization.
Skills student determine soil value and quality class, is able read and interpret soil maps, is able to describe the soil profile; determine: soil parent rocks, soil texture, he know how to determine the physical, physico-chemical and chemical properties of soils, is able to carry out the interpretation of the results of soil analysis.
Social competences: students know the relationship between soil and other elements of the environment, is aware of the role of the soil in the selection and care of plants, knows the threat to the soil environment and is able to react.

Competences: student is able: to adapt the planting and landscape arrangement a to the soil properties, to adapt of the plant care to the soil conditions, to identify and prevent the threats to soil, to modify the soil conditions for the implementation of land use plans.Prerequisites:

The genesis of soils, soil chemical, physical and physicochemical properties, soil processes, soil parent material, soil composition and morphology, Water-air properties of soils, soil fertility, macro- and micronutrients in soils, organic matter in soils, soil cartography, soil valorization, soil degradation and counteraction.
