The aim of the course is to provide the framework for knowledge concerning the role of immune system in homeostasis of the body, the role of self and non-self recognition, mechanisms of immune cells traffic and communication, immune response during microbial and parasite invasion and principles of immunological disorders (immune deficiencies and hypersensitivity)Competences:
At the end of the course students should know the principal mechanisms of innate and adaptive immune response, vaccination and immunological disorders. They also will be able to perform basic immunological tests for antigen and antibody detection and cellular components of immune responsePrerequisites:
