Student know the substantials of alimentation of both animals and human, characteristics of nutrients, digestion physiology, nutrients absorption and utilization; He knows the specificity of important groups of animals nutrition – insects, fish, reptiles, birds and mammalians of both wildlife and kept in the ZOO-gardens and human as well as the connections between alimentation and animals living space. Competences:
After completing the course student could be employed in ZOO-gardens, sanctuaries as well as in Civil Service responsible for the wildlife environment. Prerequisites:

The transfer of the substantial knowledge on biochemistry and physiology of animal and human nutrition, on the requirements of different groups and species of animals as well as humans for nutrients; Characteristic of groups of feeds and foods, content of antinutritive substances and substantial information on the metabolic diseases and disturbances in human and animal.
