Learning outcomes: A student will get the specialized theoretical and practical knowledge about using of horse in ecological agriculture, forestry and entertaining industry. A student will posses practical abilities of estimation of fitness of working horses, determinations of the productivity and setting of norms of work. Will be able to estimate welfare of the horses, working in agriculture and also taking part in breeders and commercial shows. Will get basic knowledge about meat and milk production and the using of scrap raw materials as skin and horsehairs.
Competences: After completing the course student will be able to work in the agricultural consulting, ecological industry and also in entertaining industry, during organization of spectacles with participation of animals.
Prerequisites: horse breeding
Course content: Using of horses in ecological agriculture and forest transport, estimation of workings abilities and their improvement, setting of norms of work, modern equestrian machines, principles of the pack use, methods of fattening and their recoupment, value and quality of horse meat, description of milk of mare and possibility of his acquisition; organization of breding shows and commercial spectacles, safety of people and animals during the spectacles, methods of control above horse, estimation of welfare animals.
