The student obtains the practical knowledge of law regulations concerning a fulfilment of standards in a field of environment protection, farm animals and consumer, getting an extra charge, and managing an animal farm. They particularly know the different forms of farms organization, systems of animal keeping, turnover and transport, the modern technologies of animal production and assessment methods of the quality of animal products in the light of EU demands.Competences:
The completion of the course enables the management of animal farm in the light of rules of cross-compliance; to undertake a work in institutions operating around the agriculture; practically use law regulations concerning a fulfilment of standards in a range of environment protection, farm animals and consumer, and getting an extra charge. Prerequisites:
Animal breeding Course content:
Managing of animal herd on a farm, organisation of farm animal breeding, system of animal keeping, modern technologies of milk, meat, wool and eggs production, the quality of animal products, hygienic standards, animal welfare and environment protection in animal production, animal branding, identification and animal products market in the light of European Union legislations.
