Learning outcomes: Student is familiarized with problems of embryonic and foetal development in animals from the moment of fertilization to the very early period after parturition After completing the course student understands the developmental processes, which take place during development.
Competences: After accomplishing course student is introduced into the developmental processes and issues of developmental perturbations of organism.
Prerequisites: biology, biophysics, chemistry
Course content: Development of primary and secondary organs, development of foetal membranes, structure and function of placenta.
