On completion of the course students understand and utilise basic chemical principles, chemical analytical and calculation problems.Competences:
Student is able to resolve problems concerning basic principles of chemistry, chemical analysis and typical calculations. Prerequisites:
Basic chemistryCourse content:
Atom structure, periodic properties of elements. The nature of chemical bond, oxidation and reduction processes. Chemical kinetics, catalysis. Equilibrium in solution of electrolytes. Properties of solutions. Chemical calculations. Recommended literature:
