Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology Course content:
Enzymatic reactions, the mechanisms of: hydrolytic reactions, reduction of carbonyl group, hydroxylation reactions, β-oxidation; pro and cons of enzymatic reactions. Applications of biocatalysts to organic synthesis, especially in food industry. Recommended literature:

Passing grades of laboratory course and written exam, the minimal level of knowledge required to pass the course is 60%. Comment:
The course in English will be avaliable if minimum of 6 students sign up for a group. If less than 6 students will sign up for the group the course will be avaliable in Polish with the possibility of individual support in English.
