Buildings. Classification and requirements. Development building. Domestic, public and industrial buildings designing. Design guidelines for single-family residential development. Application of the Building Regulations and Approved Documents. Draw up of house design plan. Building parts and elements. The technology of domestic building elements (foundations, walls, floors, stairs, chimneys, ceilings, roofs, doors, windows). Buildings with masonry walls. Buildings with timber frame walls. Thermal and water insulations. Internal finishes and external rendering.Recommended literature:
