Student is able to propagate rootstock, trees and bushes. Can do budding and grafting as well can cut and root soft and hardcutting of ornamental plants. He knows the factors affect the high-quality nursery material.Competences:
Students can design and run a farm producing nursery stock for fruit growers, green areas, gardens
The student knows the rights and obligations of suppliers of ornamental and orchard nursery. He can develop the technological scheme of production of nursery plants for the species, varieties and assess the quality of the material.

Botany, Soil Science, DendrologyCourse content:
Methods of fruit trees propagation, budding, grafting, methods of berry plants propagation, agrotechnical methods in nursery, quality evaluation of nursery material.Recommended literature:
