Students possess extended and supplemented knowledge in the field of plant physiology. They received the information about physiological and molecular mechanisms that determine plant responses to environmental conditions.Competences:
The possitive passing of this course will enable students to develope an independend position in a wide range of different horticultural farms, in particular those using in practice a modern method of plant production, as well as in the corresponding research centers.Prerequisites:
Plant physiology and biochemistryCourse content:
Physiological aspects of garden plant productivity, plant responses to environmental conditions, stress factors, the practical application of plant growth regulators, allelopathy and its practical aspect, transgenic plants.Recommended literature:
