Learning outcomes: Student gets knowledge about plant material (knows species and varieties produced for cut flowers and cut green as well as pot plants) and equipment used in floristics, knows the rules of proper composing of cut flowers, is able to select plant for specific plant compositions.
Competences: Student will be able to create simple compositions made of cut flowers and pot plants using proper style and selecting of plant material and floristic equipment.
Prerequisites: Botany, Plant Physiology, Ornamental Plants
Course content: History of plant decroations, rules of creating of plant compositions, plant compositions in vessels, techniques of creating of plant compositions for special occasions.
