The aim of the course is to acquaint the students with main species of green areas plants as well as the basic rules of grasslands managementCompetences:
After finishing the course students will have the facilities how to compose plants (grasses, herbs and Fabaceae) for mixes suitable for perennial green grasses as well as difficult areas. Students can estimate suitability of lawn grasses (species and varieties) for preparing different types of swards and determine influence of seat factors on subsisting of particular species in green.Prerequisites:
Botany, Soil sciencesCourse content:
Knowledge of recognising of basic grass species, Fabaceae, herbs and weeds. Knowledge about factors of habitat and ptatotechnical influenced on turf. Assessment of plant composition and productivity of meadows sward. Skills of interpretation processes in structure human-plant-animals-environment. Recommended literature:
