Student knows how to analyse economic phenomena and processes from the point of view of economy as a whole. Student knows fundamental macroeconomic quantities and relations between them. Can describe the money market, Keynes and classical macroeconomics. He knows the factors that influence economic growth and what effects this process has on infation, unemployment, bugdet and monetary policy of the state. Competences:
After receiving credits for the course student can work in local and national administration institutions, scientific research units, logistics departments.Prerequisites:
Knowledge of basics of mathematics and knowledge of society on the secondary school level.Course content:
National economy. Global: supply and demand. Macroeconomic balance. Fundamental macroeconomic quantities. State budget and budget deficit. Money and banking system. Keynes macroeconomy, infation, unemployment. Open economy and internal balance. Model IS-LM. Economic growth.Recommended literature:
