Learning outcomes: The aim of the course is to use microcomputer techniques for future learning and working. After the course student can also try to get an European Certificate of Computer Skills ECDL.
Competences: After completing the course student should be able to work with computer freely, using the most common operation systems and tools offered by microcomputer techniques.
Prerequisites: Access to computer, including popular computer programs.
Course content: The history of computer science, operation systems, operation system Windows, ciphering of Polish symbols, tools of MS Office, computer graphic, Interent tools – post, www websites, FTP and Telnet services.
Recommended literature: Books about operation system Windows: 95, 98, Me, 2000, XP, Vista and MS Office: 97, 2000, XP, 2003, 2007.
