Learning outcomes: Student has the skill of using the GIS tools in analyses and the aid of space management and planning; applying basic notions GIS, SIS Spatial Information Systems) and LIS (Land Inaformation Systems) in the spatial planning.
Competences: Completion of the course gives the bases to use spatial information systems in spatial planning and management.
Prerequisites: Information technology
Course content: Typology and the fields of GIS (Geographical Information System) usage. GIS data structures. Vector data – operations, edition. Joining spatial and attribute information. Relational databases. Cartographic projections. Making projects with support of GIS tools.
