Student will gain theoretical knowledge in a field of issues connected with a life of wild canide, protection, behavior in a herd, reproduction and offspring raising, organization of modern methods of migration studies and their application in population protection.Competences:
Completion of the course will allow to take up a work in zoological garden, and to assess biological efficiency of animals. Prerequisites:
Zoology, animal physiology, genetic, basis of animal feeding Course content:
Exterieur and performance characteristics of dogs and wild canide, rulet of breeding work running, genetic and environmental features influencing life of canide, dogs origins, ways of orientation, migrations of canide, law status, protection and reintroduction of wild canide.Recommended literature:
