Learning outcomes: After completing the course student will know the properties of components used for mixtures production (advantages, disadvantages, limitations), know the methods of preparation of diet components for mixing processes, know the rules of technique of production of different commercial feeds given to all species of farm animals.
Competences: Student could be employed in the feed industry and as an advisor on the animal nutrition and production of feed mixtures
Prerequisites: Animal nutrition, mechanization, animal production
Course content: Physico-chemical properties and value of nutrients for production of feed and mineral-vitamin mixtures. Preparation of components for production of mixtures. Technological processes which are indispensable in production of different kind of mixtures for all species of farm animals.
