Learning outcomes: After the course, a student knows principles of adjustment of agricultural activity to natural conditions of ecosystem, she or he knows the basis of agricultural activities and principles of ecology (definitions, laws and relations).
Competences: Passing the course permits to put the theoretical knowledge on agricultural basis and ecology in practice to make documents, plans, strategies in landscape planning and management. Prerequisites: the biology required at higher primary and the secondary school.

Course content: Agriculture tasks, branches of agricultural production, natural environment and its utility to agriculture, agricultural factors, plants requirements (agricultural science and environmental conditions), basis of agricultural science, distribution of organism, limiting factors of species migration and spreading, settlement selection, organisms interaction, applied ecology (the population exploitation, agricultural protection), wildlife protection; landscape ecology.
