Polish / EnglishThe course in English will be available if a minimum of 6 students sign up for a group. If less than 6 students sign up for the group, the course will be available in Polish with the possibility of individual support in English.Learning outcomes:
Student acquires knowledge about surveying and calculation to create large-scale maps. The skills gained from the course allow to take measurements with use of digital tachymeters, levels and GNSS receivers as well as use the results of surveying to create maps in CAD systems. Student knows the methods of creating thematic maps and elaborating topographic maps (databases).Competences:
The knowledge and skills allow to spatial data acquisition to create large-scale maps, as well as creating thematic maps based on statistical data.Prerequisites:

Measuring instruments. Conversion of units. Coordinate systems. Angle and distance measurements. Surveying methods. GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite Systems) measurements. Digital maps. Topographic maps (databases). Thematic maps and databases. Methods of thematic mapping.Recommended literature:
