Student has the theoretical and practical knowledge course is to acquire of knowledge about land management. Student should know legal and economical aspects of land development. The base is GIS system.Competences:

Rural areas. Rural land and cultural landscape. Organization of agricultural pro-duction area. The elementary information about GIS. Spatial planning in the countryside. Supporting measures for rural development. Rural areas urbaniza-tion. Environmental protection in spatial economy. Coordination of rural devel-opment activities. Organisational and legal framework. Financing of land devel-opment activities. Regional policy of EU. Rural areas modernization in highway zones. Special programs in land development (ecological agriculture, biomass production). Rural development in EU member states.Recommended literature:
