Learning outcomes: Student recognizes (in agricultural fields) plant associations and basic species of agrocoenosis (crops and weeds). Student recognizes relations between main components of agrophytocenosis and environmental conditions and also possibilities of controlling agrocenosis composition.
Competences: The positive credit of this course makes possible recognition of crops and weeds in varying growth stages, realization and recording by one-self phytosociological photos, using of phytoindication.
Prerequisites: botany, principles of crop production
Course content: Characteristic of agroecosystem, field conditions and behaviour of weeds and crops, competition and allelopathy and putting it into practice, biological and ecological principles of weed control, reasons and dynamics of changes in agrophytocenosis.
