The student has a theoretical knowledge and practical skill enabling the optimal selection of species and varieties of trees and scrubs for plantings in gardens, alleys, city parks and open landscape. The student can plan trees, scrubs plantings depended of habitat conditions and esthetic requirements of project. The student has known the principles of species selection in relation to function acting in composition. Competences:
The contents acquired in subject matter enabling self-making of plantings trees and scrub project in different levels of space organization – from garden to plantings in open landscape. Prerequisites:
Botany, Dendrology, Ecology
Course content:
The function of higher plants in planning of city structure, communication route and gardens. The trees and scrubs selections depended of habitat conditions and esthetic requirements of project.Recommended literature:
