During the course student is got familiar with breeding and husbandry of various fish species. Not only the large-scale breeding of salmonidae, but of other valuable species is taken into consideration, e.g. reproduction of rheophilic fish in order to stock rivers and water reservoirs. Competences:
The completion of the course allows to undertake a job in units dealing with fish breeding and husbandry, centres of the control of fish environment, scientific centres of PAN or IRŚ.Prerequisites:

Breeding and husbandry of salmonidae, breeding and husbandry of rheophilic fish and other valuable species, moreover of thermophilic ones – Silver carp, Black carp, African sheatfish, and also chosen water invertebrates husbandry.Recommended literature:
