Learning outcomes: This course introduces students to modern methods of creating documents, publications, computer presentations. After completing the course the students: – know the rules for scientific texts, how to prepare computer presentation of the results; – can build graphs and tables in their documents, presentations – know how to prepare a bibliography. At the end of the course they can prepare a document for printing.
Competences: Completing the course gives basic knowledge and skills to prepare for printing a document, a computer presentation.
Prerequisites: Information technology, mathematics
Course content: The structure of the source file, the mode of the paragraph, and mathematical mode. Document classes. Selecting the font and font size. Creating tables, inserting graphs. Creating bibliography.
