After the course student knows criterions of hydraulic structures localization and problems concerning their realization; student can prepare study of needs and feasibility analysis, calculate filtration through subsoil soil and dam embankment, is able to evaluate structure stability, can rate physical and mechanical proprieties of soils from point of view of its usage in different parts of construction.Competences:
Completion of the course gives possibilities to work in design offices and companies specialized in execution of hydraulic works.Prerequisites:
Course content:
Criterion of water structures localization, filtration through subsoil and dam embankment, watertight barriers, drainage, stability of structure, bank protections, control and measurements equipment, reconstruction and modernization of damaged structures.Recommended literature:
