PolishLearning outcomes:
Student gets a theoretical knowledge and practical skills permitting to define space and elements connected with it, eg. points, lines, simple figures, solids and surfaces. He or she is able to define relationships among above mentioned graphical elements. Students know the basis of orthographic and central projections. During the training at the computer lab student posses the practical skill of CAD system operation, is able to develop graphical layers compositions, draw and modify graphical elements, place text descriptions, fill predefined shapes with patterns, etc. Competences:
Passing the course is the basis for the future computer aided engineering design. Student has a basic competence at both 2D as well as 3D drawing at the CAD type computer graphical environment. Prerequisites:
-Course content:
Parallel and orthogonal projection, Monge’s and central projections, points, lines and surfaces representations on two projection planes, hierarchy of levels at CAD drawings, basic drawing elements and their attributes, modifying and editing drawing elements, adding text descriptions and filling with patterns of selected regions, basic techniques of 3-D drawing composition with implementation of primitive solids.
