Student got the knowledge about cultivars of all fruit species cultivated in Poland and their climate and soil conditions, economic characteristics of trees and fruits, cultivation methods of the most important fruit species. Competences:
Student will acquire the knowledge that is necessary to run the modern fruit farm specializing in tree and berry fruit production for fresh consumption, processing and storage purposes. Student is able to adjust the fruit species cultivars to the local environmental conditions, and in additional Prerequisites:
Botany, Plant Physiology, Soil Science, NurseryCourse content:
Management of most important fruit trees and berry plants, pomology of all species cultivated in polish climate conditions.Recommended literature:
