Learning outcomes: Student acquires the knowledge of packaging materials, packaging technologies and packaging machines.
Competences: The ability to select packing material for the product. Packaging design. Construction of packaging lines.

Course content: Issues on: function, classification and selection of packaging, methods of food preservation by the methods of packaging, labeling, marking and coding of packages, packing techniques and technology in agri-food industry, developments in the field of food packaging, the development prospects of the packaging industry in Poland.
