Understands the basic concepts related to water and sewage management, student is able to indicate an appropriate action in relation to the determination of water resources, draw up the balance of water needs and wastewater, set the size of population equivalent, selects an appropriate purification technology for permissible load into the environment.Competences:
The knowledge gained allows to take up an employment in the sector related to water services, preparing a simplified balance of water needs and balance of quantitative and qualitative treatment; selection and determination of the size of equipment associated with sewage sludge processing.Prerequisites:
Course content:
Current legal problems associated with water supply and sewage discharge, methods and devices for achieving the objectives of water management and disposal of wastewater and sludge, water treatment methods, methods of wastewater and sludge treatment.Recommended literature:
