The student in time of course purchases the theoretical knowledge and practical skills to enable him understanding basic genetic rights, in range of classical genetics (mendelian), basic animal genetics: cytogenetics, genes expression genetics, immunogenetics, genetics of sex forming and it's disorders, embryo genetics and molecular genetics basics - genomics and some biotechnology procedures (cloning and transgenization). Furthermore student will be able to resolve problems connected with mendelian genetics, sex linked traits, autosomal conjugated traits. Student understands genetic sense of all meiotic variation sources and can predict its heritance. Student will be able to estimate mutation frequency, to reveal lethal genes, genotypes and to find and define chromosome aberrations.Competences:
Completion of the course makes possible to understand traits heredity mechanisms and interpretation genetic phenomena happened on molecular level.Prerequisites:
