Student acquires knowledge about the methods of vegetable, fruit trees cultivation in small gardens. Student will develop the skills for species and cultivar selection and adjust the optimal methods of production, with particularly allowance for elimination chemical methods of disease and insect protectionCompetences:
After completing the course student will be able to plan and carry out home gardens. Students will know the rules of assortment of species, cultivars and optimal method of fruit and vegetables plants cultivation.

Rules of fruit and vegetable projects for the small garden production, choice of species and varieties, production technology with special focus of particular kind of gardens, climatic conditions of plants, pro-ecological methods of fruit and vegetable production. Recommended literature:
