XML is data description language that plays essential role in data exchange processes. The course gives foundations of applying XML to data modelling and presentations using general purpose XML tools as well as programmer’s interfaces. References to existing standardized data formats are emphasized.Competences:
After completion the course student can build simple XML application for specific purpose, extract interesting information transforming XML documents of known structure, apply XML to data exchange between applications and for data presentation in WWW services.Prerequisites:
