Skills
Student can comprehensively deal with problems related to the regulation of water in the river valley at the use of gravity irrigation and evaluate the impact of damming rivers in the adjacent valley.
Competences:
Is aware of the economical and rational management of water resources; understands the importance of river valleys as ecological corridors in the landscape.Prerequisites:
drainage, irrigationCourse content:
Hydrogenic habitats in river valleys. Cause and effects of peatlands subsidence. Rules drainage of organic soils. Supply valley areas. Water management of soils under different supply.
