PolishLearning outcomes:
Acquisition of basic knowledge on selected sections of physics, biophysics and agrophysics, needed for understanding the phenomena occurring in Nature. The result of physics teaching is a deeper understanding of disciplines of biological, technical and environmental character lectured on at the direction Environment Protection. Competences:
Successful completion of the course enables better understanding of other disciplines taught at higher years of the study, e.g., soil science, hydrology and hydrobiology, protection of agricultural environment. The student acquires ability to find quantitative solutions to physical problems in the area of instruction and do some laboratory studies. Prerequisites:
mathematics, physics of higher school levelCourse content:
The student acquires knowledge, among others, in the area of classical mechanics, structure of matter with emphasis on liquids, transport processes of heat, mass and liquid, thermodynamics, electrostatics and electric current, wave optics, atomic and nuclear physics, nuclear energetics – its effectiveness and side effects.
