-Student knows the principles of selection of clinical samples in various fungal infections
-Describes the use of microscopic, cultural and biochemical methods in the identification of fungi.
Practical skills:
-Performs basic tests used in the mycology
-Interprets results of laboratory tests

Student can organize cooperation with a diagnostic laboratory Prerequisites:
Completed courses of: microbiology, immunology, biochemistry, pathophysiology.Course content:
The aim of the course is to provide students with knowledge concerning pathogenic fungi and methods used in their identification.
